APFM, in partnership with IDC, conducts the eight edition of the “Jornadas”, a full day event dedicated to FM, this year auspices of “Improving FM: Internationalization and Technology”
The congress will take place at Museu da Eletricidade on the 13th November 2014, and will have a set of expert speakers, discussion panels and presentation of case studies and best practices in order to promote a valuable discussion on the issues at hand and with the main goal of launching new projects and challenges for the sector in 2015.
Main themes of the event:
- Internationalization: The different realities in terms of maturity, size and sophistication of the FM sector in different countries can set the internationalization of FM providers both as an opportunity to increase business and also to acquire new competences. On the other hand, we will look towards foreign occupants of offices in Portugal and look for their opinion on how good is Portuguese FM compared with other geographies.
- Technology in Facility Management: Since the automation of the workspaces of the need to monitor in real time indicators of consumption and availability of services to developers, the technology not only assists in FM sound management of projects during their use but may be an integral part from planning thereof, in the design phase, allowing more accurately to predict the interaction between the building and its occupants.
- Other themes: This year conference will also look into: Certification, Training and the relation between the Academy and Facility Management, towards building a career path for FM in Portugal.
